Rosboro BigBeam

Rosboro BigBeam® (30F) is our highest-strength, I-joist-compatible glulam beam. Designed as the perfect beam for engineered floor systems, BigBeam continues to gain a following among architects, engineers and builders due to its strength, stability and versatility.

This beam is so popular that we gave it its own website. Visit www.rosborobigbeam.com to find out more about the BigBeam product line, including product comparisons, builders' perspectives and a list of dealers that stock the line.

From Floor Systems To Framing
Not only does BigBeam ensure a flat, consistent floor when used in engineered flooring systems, it is also engineered to match standard I-joist depths and wall-framing widths. This high-performing beam is consistently successful, not only due to its great strength, but because it is kiln-dried and is designed with a balanced layup and zero camber. No wonder it's the beam of choice for today's builder.

Perfect For Modern Residential and Light Commercial Applications
BigBeam is raising the bar for quality in newly built homes, while lowering overall construction costs. When compared to Trus Joist, MacMillan's Paralam®, Anthony Forest Products Power Beam®, and LVL, BigBeam is as strong and competitively priced.

BigBeam has been inspected and certified by APA EWS and has been accepted by all of the industry's leading code agencies (City of Los Angeles - RR#25649, ICC-ES Report - ESR-1937).

Manufactured and Delivered to Meet Your Needs
Manufactured to the APA EWS Framing Appearance Standard, BigBeam is intended for framing applications where appearance is not important. To ensure proper width tolerances, the beam is touch-sanded or planed after gluing. All BigBeam products come to you individually wrapped and sealed to protect the beam from moisture.
