Worth the Effort

We're all living on this planet together and want to protect its resources for future generations, but exactly how to go about doing that is still up for debate. At Rosboro, we do our part by adhering to as many of the regional, national, and international standards for sustainability as possible.

Understanding that no one system is perfect, we have embraced a variety of different guidelines, established by recognized experts, to better our chances at making a significant and lasting impact on environmental health while still providing the quality wood products our customers have come to expect. Compliance with so many stringent codes isn't easy, but we believe it is well worth it and are confident our customers, and the local wildlife, appreciate the effort.

Our Commitment to the Environment

Rosboro has developed strict environmental protocals designed to promote a sustainable forest environment.

These protocals include prompt reforestation, prudent chemical use, preservation of special sites, and enhancements to the biodiversity of wildlife habitats. Rosboro also educates the public on sustainable forestry practices, water-quality protection, wood-use improvements, and minimizing the visual impact of tree harvesting.
